Membership Terms and Agreement Statement
By submitting an application to become a member of the Robbery Investigators of Texas Inc, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals who are actively engaged in Law Enforcement, prevention, investigations, and detection, or who have retired from such a position, as well as Financial Industry Personnel and Corporate Security Personnel with valid credentials. The Board of Directors shall have the final decision on membership eligibility.
Application: To apply for membership, you must complete the application form, provide accurate information, and pay the required membership fee If your application is not approved your fee will be refunded. Membership is subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
Membership Categories: The Robbery Investigators of Texas Inc offers the following membership categories:
a. Active Member: Active members are individuals who are actively engaged in robbery investigations, prevention, and detection, or Financial Industry Personnel and Corporate Security Personnel with valid credentials. Active members can hold office and can serve on committees.
b. Retired Member: Retired members are individuals who have retired from law enforcement, prevention, and detection positions, or Financial Industry Personnel and Corporate Security Personnel with valid credentials. Retired members can hold office and can serve on committees.
c. Associate Member: Any retail establishment interested in collaborating and connecting with our industry personnel for information sharing related to corporate security.
Membership Fees: Membership fees are set by the Board of Directors and are subject to change from time to time. Membership fees are non-refundable.
Membership Term: Membership is valid for one year from the date of approval by the Board of Directors. Members must renew their membership annually to remain in good standing.
Code of Conduct: Members of the Robbery Investigators of Texas Inc are expected to uphold high ethical and professional standards. Members must abide by the organization's code of conduct, which includes but is not limited to:
a. Conducting themselves in a professional manner at all times.
b. Refraining from engaging in any activity that is in conflict with the organization's objectives, mission or interests.
c. Respect the rights, privacy, and confidentiality of fellow members and individuals with whom they come in contact during the course of their work and or engagement on this platform.
Termination of Membership: Membership may be terminated by the Board of Directors for any violation of the organization's code of conduct or for conduct that is detrimental to the organization's reputation or objectives.
By submitting an application to become a member of the Robbery Investigators of Texas Inc, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms and conditions of membership, including the organization's code of conduct, and agree to abide by them.
